A Poem in Which...

In her poem, A Poem in Which I Address My Friend Tony, Emma Jeremy has some striking images with smell and taste in play. These two lines were wonderful: "you smell like a fork" and "you taste like a glass of milk" you can read her full poem here

And check out her twitter page

And news just in: November is poetry month for me. Another thirty poems waiting to be written. I've been roped into it and will be doing it with a group of poets.

You've been very productive Tadigh! Quality stuff as usual. What a meangingful line this is: "Ahead is our future,
it is red like a lobster
and full of fire."
Writing using proverbs as prompts has stirred me to try it but using Irish language ones as prompts. Maybe we could collaborate? Pick a proverb: you do a poem in English and I'll do another based on the same proverb as gaeilge.Let me know what you think!
