Yesterday a cat crept
out of my mouth
as you slept on a mountain.
When you woke I told you
but you did not believe me.
You said such an
occurrence was highly irregular,
if not impossible.
So I stomped on onion clouds
and lashed out at the cardamon sun.
You said relax, calm down,
take a breather.
And I turned my head
towards a chameleon sky
and listened to your heart purring.
