Bare Hands Poetry

Photo by Eva Merry. Visit her here

The year is off to a terrific start with creative sparks flying. All this creativity and optimism has gotten me submitting again and getting submissions accepted has been a great boost. You can find my poem (First Lift Here) in the latest issue of Bare Hands Poetry. Read it here

Wow! Your poem - What a story in such a short space. I am sad and yet full of hope for things to work out, in reading this.

Congratulations and I will always be glad to read more of your work.

Congratulations, Taidgh! I agree with Claudia-- there is a lot of story there in a few words.

Thanks Claudia and Sean! Great to hear you both enjoyed it. I've been pushing for less words and yet still keeping story and meaning. Happy to see that it worked!

I'm getting all encouraged now to write a poem about weather seeing that I can see and hear the rain and the wind lashing outside my window. I hope you're both keeping warm and not snowed under.
