The Epistolarium

There's something I've been holding back from you all. At the end of December I got published in a new online journal: The Epistolarium. You can find the link above.
Last year Theresa Williams (poet, editor, mailartist) asked: "What does the Epistolarium mean to you?"

She gave this definition and information:
e·pis·to·lar·y (adj.) 1. Of or associated with letters or the writing of letters. 2. Being in the form of a letter: epistolary exchanges. 3. Carried on by or composed of letters: an epistolary friendship. [From Latin epistolris, from epistola, epistle; see epistle.]
************************************************
The Epistolarium is ...
*...the place where mailart happens, where it is received, where it is stored.  A place in your house, in your studio, in your mailbox, in your head or in your heart.
*...going to be a series of free downloadable journals dedicated to letters and mailart.
*...is an extention of my online blog called The Letter Project http://theletterproject.wordpress.com/
*...will have periodic themes, to be announced.

Of course I was eager to participate as I'm always looking for creative projects and freedom to express myself. So I decided to submit, but nothing fancy. I kept editing to a minimum and let the ideas flow.  I wanted to be free to create without the restraints of sticking to a prescribed type of writing that online/print journals sometimes have the habit of keeping to. You can find my work in the pdf file on page 24 and 25 as well as writing and art from others. Feel free to download the file. Enjoy.

Thanks Sean! I saw your piece in Paper Nautilus, a good read and I'm enjoying some of the other stories too.

Thanks Sweet Posy! It is a very interesting publication. The theme was what drew me to it in the first place. I hope you have been able to find time for yourself after all that editing you have been doing. Nice to see you out from under the weeds!
