Poetry Comics and Postal Art

Bianca Stone is my favourite writer of poetry comics. She blends poetry with rough and abstract sketches. I quite like the extra layer that the reader gets with the images that in a sense turns into poetry itself. I gave into temptation when I saw her latest chapbook, I Want to Open the Mouth that God Gave You Beautiful Mutant. The cover is in colour and inside b&w. It came from America, so I had to consider whether it was worth paying the cost of postage. I eventually gave in. I'm convinced that certain publishers overcharge us poor Europeans for postage.

I'm still at it. At least someone's mail box is getting love and I enjoy coming up with a drawing or two.
